RE = Reproductive Endocrinologist
IF = Infertility
TTC = Trying to Conceive
BFP = Big Fat Positive (pregnancy test)
BFN = Big Fat Negative (pregnancy test)
AF = Aunt Flo (menses)
PG = Pregnant
CD = Cycle Day
U/S = Ultrasound
B/W = Bloodwork
PCOS = Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome
IR = Insulin Resistant
Met = Metformin (drug used to battle PCOS & IR)
BBT = Basal Body Temperature
IUI = Intrauterine Insemination
LH = Lutienizing Hormone (surges just before ovulation)
FSH = Follicle Stimulating Hormone (helps follicles to grow before ovulation)
HCG = Hormone injected to "trigger" ovulation, also hormone level that increases when pregnant
HSG = Hysterosalpingogram (test to see if tubes are blocked)
HSS = Hysterosalpingoscintigraphy (test to see if there is a uterine abnormality)

June 11, 2007 - 8dpiui Progesterone blood test, Prog = 9.3, started prog supplements
June 3, 2007 - CD15 IUI
June 1, 2007 - CD13 u/s & b/w - Follicles = 18, 16, 15 1/2, 14, and a couple at 12-13! HCG trigger given in PM.
May 31, 2007 - CD12 u/s & b/w - Estrogen = 1465, Follicles = 15, 2 @ 13 1/2mm, 13mm & a couple at 11-12mm!!
May 30, 2007 - CD11 - decrease Follistim 150iu
May 29, 2007 - CD10 u/s & b/w - Estrogen = 597, 12mm, 11 1/2mm & a couple at 10mm on left, 10mm and below on right
May 27, 2007 - CD8 u/s & b/w - Largest follie = 10mm
May 25, 2007 - CD6 b/w - Estrogen =58, increase Follistim to 225iu
May 22, 2007 - CD3 u/s & b/w - Estrogen = 37, FSH = 6.6
May 20, 2007 - Start of 2nd injectible cycle with Follistim 150iu
April 19, 2007 - Appt with RE #3
April 9, 2007 - CD13 u/s showed largest follicle was 8.5mm. RE cancelled cycle. Had frustrating talk with RE and decided to switch to RE #3.
April 6, 2007 - CD10 u/s showed largest follicle was 8mm
March 28, 2007 - Began 1st cycle on Injectibles (Menopur 150iu)
March 18, 2007 - Upped Metformin to 1500mg
March 15, 2007 - Did not ovulate. Switched to RE #2. Began Progesterone to induce AF.
March 7, 2007 - Upped Metformin to 1000mg
March 1, 2007 - Upped Metformin to 750mg
February 21, 2007 - Upped Metformin to 500mg
February 21, 2007 - HSS (no uterine abnormality!)
February 14, 2007 - Began taking Metformin 250mg
February 14, 2007 - HSG (clear tubes, but possible uterine abnormality)
February 7, 2007 - Tons of bloodwork!
February 5, 2007 - Began cycle #2 on Clomid (100mg).
January 24, 2007 - 1st appt with RE. Began progesterone to induce AF.
January 17, 2007 - BFN. Never ovulated on Clomid 50mg. OBGYN referred me to an RE.
December 15, 2006 - Began 1st cycle on Clomid 50mg
December 2, 2006 - Began progesterone to induce AF for cycle #1 on Clomid 50mg.
November 21, 2006 - Started short cycle before beginning Clomid
November 9, 2006 - OBGYN appt to discuss spotting and Clomid. Began progesterone to induce AF.
September - October 2006 - Consistent, daily spotting for almost 2 months straight!
May - August 2006 - Only had AF once during this time
May 2006 - OBGYN suggested Clomid. We decided to try naturally until December. Stopped charting, stopped taking Metformin.
April 21, 2006 - BFN Started cycle #2
April 6, 2006 - A month late, but I ovulated on my own!
March 1, 2006 - 1st cycle of 2006 began! Started charting BBT and taking Metformin
February 2006 - Saw my OBGYN for b/w and to discuss my irregular cycles. Started progesterone to induce AF
January 2006 - Began TTC
